A lovely shot of your face just isn't powerful enough. Your headshot image isn’t a pose, it’s a moment. Are you actively listening in your image? Are you using the same kind of action that you use when you're winning a scene?  Are you winning in this image? Are you sitting back being cool? Sure. Are you leaning in hanging on every word? Sure. Is something about to happen? Sure!

***** My goal isn't to take a good headshot or even to take technically perfect image, it's to take a picture of you, capturing you in a way that lends it's self to the character, energy, type, strengths of who you could be on screen or on stage.

A note about pricing - I price in solidarity. I believe that a good headshot shouldn’t cost more than your rent. When it does, people are nervous, uncomfortable, and scared. You shouldn’t suffer because you want a high-end professional shot to represent your career goals. I want you to look comfortable and feel comfortable in front of my lens. No matter the price, you need to feel comfortable. You shouldn’t have to strain because you want quality.

Conversely, Yes, You can find a headshot session costing less than what a session at Dianna Bush Photography costs. But … enter at own risk.

I want you to be able to get a fresh image often without feeling strain from the price.

We shoot what you need to propel your career forward. All choices represent “character” and the character is you.

I’m here to support you. Yep, I know A LOT about photography, but this photo isn’t about me. It’s about you. My style, my signature, my technique isn’t the focal point. You are.

If a picture is worth 1000 words, then I need all the words to be about you. When someone looks at the picture, they see 1000 words about you and not my style.
